Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Pinnit for the Pinnit website and mobile application (the “Service”). Additional App Store terms may also apply when you download the iOS app.

The Service

Pinnit helps you save places, import notes and social links, and share maps with friends. Features described on the marketing site may change before or after launch.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, legal/security reasons, or if we discontinue the Service.

Your content

You retain rights in content you save. You grant Pinnit a license to host, process, and display that content to operate the Service, including when you share with friends or send a list. You represent that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate law or others’ rights.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, reverse engineer it except as allowed by law, or submit unlawful or harmful content.

Maps, AI, and third parties

Map data and AI-extracted places can be incomplete or wrong. Pinnit is not a navigation warranty. Third-party apps and sites you open (Apple Maps, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) have their own terms.

Disclaimer and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR TWELVE MONTHS OR TEN U.S. DOLLARS.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
